Centro de Crecimiento is a center for children with disabilities. They offer opportunities for these children to improve their physical condition, education and self esteem so that they can become contributing members of society. 
 
They provide an integrated approach to rehabilitating and educating children with physical and/or mental disabilities through a comprehensive group of programs ranging from physical therapy to in-house primary and secondary education programs.  They accept children into their program from the time of birth and work with them until they reach the age of 17.
 
Centro de Crecimiento is one of only a handful of disability centers in Mexico that provides a holistic approach in serving the needs of disabled children, and they have had great success.  Children never expected to walk are now not only on their feet, but some have gone on to have jobs through the job-training and placement program that the center maintains.
 
Like all charities, the Centro de Crecimiento depends on  donations for its survival. As we all know, these are difficult times for all charities.  The Chili Cook-Off is the biggest fundraiser of the year for Centro de Crecimiento - so come out and join us in supporting the kids!
