The 4th Annual San Miguel International Cook-Off will take place on January 30, 2010 between noon and 5 p.m. in the large grounds behind Hotel Real de Minas. If you are driving, please know that parking in the hotel parking lot will be extremely limited, so your best bet will be to find street parking near the hotel.

Once you arrive, the first thing you'll want to do is pick up your tasting cup and spoon and buy some drink tickets, both of which will be available at the gate.

Welcome Party!

On the night before the Cook-Off (Friday, January 29), we will have a Mexican fiesta in the main lobby of the Hotel Real de Minas to welcome our international cooks to San Miguel!  We will have a mouth-watering buffet of authentic Mexican food and live music featuring the sounds of Mexico!  The party will begin with a cocktail hour at 6:00, followed by dinner at 7:00.  The cost to attend will be $20.00 USD per person, including the all-you-can-eat buffet, 1 free margarita and lots of fun - Mexican style!  There will be a cash bar for all your additional beverage desires!

After Party!

To top off the weekend, we will have an after-party on Saturday evening beginning at 6pm at The Sunset Bar, located on the rooftop of Hotel Casa Linda (Hotel Casa Linda is located in the heart of downtown, at Mesones 101).  We will have live music by local musician Chuy and his groovin' band, 2 for 1 drinks (from 6-8pm) and free appetizers!  With breath-taking, panoramic views of the city and the surrounding hills, The Sunset Bar is the perfect place to end what promises to be the perfect weekend!
