Entrance Tickets

Tickets to enter the cook-off are $80 pesos per person if purchased in advance, and $100 pesos at the door. Children under 12 enter for free.

Tickets will be available from December 1 through January 29 at the following locations (hey - buy something yummy to eat or drink while you're there!):

Hate standing in line??  Click here to learn how to become a Chili Chap!  Chili Chaps are special friends of the San Miguel International Chili Cook-Off.  For a small donation to the Crecimiento, Chili Chaps will receive 2 entry tickets, 10 tickets for drinks or food (in advance - no standing in line!!) and valet parking.

For not more than $100 pesos, you will get entrance to the event, free chili tasting (until the chili runs out!!), the right to vote in the Peoples' Choice for Best Chili contest, "front row seats" to a full day of live entertainment including musical performances and rodeo ring performances, an afternoon of unbeatable fun AND you'll be making a much-needed contribution to a beautiful charitable organization.

Hold on to your ticket!!!!!!!!  Once you've entered the grounds, be sure to hold on to your entrance ticket stub.  On the back, you will find a series of numbers that correspond to the chili contestants' tent numbers.  After you've tasted the chili, take your ticket to the tent marked Información, and vote for your favorite chili by circling the tent number on the back of your ticket.  If you lose your ticket, you won't be able to vote!

Tickets for Beverages & Food

As soon as you arrive, you'll want to buy some tickets that you can use to buy drinks.  ALL beverages (water, soft drinks, beer, margaritas, tequila shots and rum & coke) will be sold out of one large tent marked "Sunset Bar."  Contestants in the chili, bean and margarita contests are not allowed to sell or give away beverages, because the sale of beverages is a primary source of income for the Centro de Crecimiento at the event - so please don't ask for handouts!  All beverages must be paid for with tickets (no cash).  In addition to the gate, you can buy drink tickets at other locations around the hotel grounds - just look for the "Ticket" signs.
